The staff of the youth referee academy is proud to announce that the residential five day four night Academy will again be offered in 2008 on the campus of the University of Richmond from Sunday July 13th to Thur July 17th.

Academies Available:
  • Basic - 24 slots available (youths 13 to 17 with at least one year in the center)
  • Advanced - 12 slots available (youths 15 to 20, at least a Grade 7 or a previous attendee at the Academy)

The cost of the Academy is $400.00 per attendee and it’s hoped that referee associations and soccer clubs will again scholarship the referees from their region. In order to provide a good cross section of participants by region, an initial number of slots are allocated as follows:

North 10 (includes Fredericksburg area), Central 5, South 7 (Williamsburg to the Beach), West 5 (Charlottesville to Blacksburg) and Maryland 5.
